Overland Park: June 1, 2012 – Anthem Media Group (Anthem), a portfolio of preeminent marketing and media firms, announced today it has acquired Sweet Spot Marketing, LLC (SSM), an agency specializing in social, internet and search marketing. The move is expected to fuel segment growth and further strengthen Anthem’s array of capabilities.
Founded in 2007 by visionary tech entrepreneur David Barnes, who serves as Sweet Spot Marketing’s president, the company’s menu of services includes research, consulting, program design, social promotion and engagement campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO), paid search advertising and search engine-friendly Web development. SSM is a Google AdWords Certified Partner and a Certified Online Advertising Agency with both Google and Bing. The firm will relocate later this month to Anthem’s Overland Park, Kansas, headquarters.
SSM has spent the past four years developing considerable intellectual property around research, analytics, analysis and campaign management within a highly customizable, scalable proprietary software solution to meet complex client demands. The bespoke system allows for fully automated operations, highly detailed analytics and incredibly deep insight. Data drives SSM and its quest to deliver benchmark social, internet and search marketing solutions.
